ISNHS 124th Foundation Day
Ilocos Sur National High School just celebrated its 124th Foundation Day, it was a really happy day that made everyone feel proud to be part of our school. As soon as the day started, you could feel how excited everyone was. The good mood spread fast from one person to the next!
Students, teachers, and all the people who work at the school got together to celebrate our school’s long life and all the great things we’ve done over the years. We took time to remember how the school started way back in 1900, and how it has grown to become the big, strong school it is today.
There were so many fun things going on the whole day. First, we had a bright and colorful parade, every grade wore their own special outfits and marched around the school grounds with banners and flags. After that, each grade did lively field demonstrations on the big field. Every performance showed how talented, creative, and good we are at working together as a team.
Everyone worked hard to make the day perfect, students practiced for weeks and teachers helped plan everything. It was clear that we all care a lot about our school and want to see it keep doing well for many more years to come.

10 Marconi during the parade. The sun is very hot, the heat is strong, but the section is still going. Everyone was sweating a lot, but we are still happy.
This is a pamaypay – a hand fan. It has pink cloth on it. I made it with lots of work. Every part was done carefully. Time was spent to make it look nice.
This is a mask prop. It’s made from cloth shaped like a mask. A lot of work went into making it. There’s a golden tassel on top. The cloth is folded and formed carefully. The tassel hangs down nicely. Every part is made by my hand with care.
